B1G1 FREE MineCraft During Notch’s Wedding Weekend

You may have heard that Notch is getting married this weekend and to celebrate Mojang is giving one free copy of Minecraft to everyone who buys the game!
MineCraft is an addicting open ended sandbox game where you can gather, hunt, craft or build anything you can imagine. Once night falls; however, you better find shelter or you’ll need to fight to survive. It’s a game I think my girlfriend would really enjoy because of the endless building and creativity it provides. Not only that, PaulSoaresJr has shown it’s also a great way to spend time with the family.
Unfortunately, she doesn’t seem all that interested. If however you know someone that hasn’t started playing yet, here’s how to get them a free copy of MineCraft in 3 easy steps:
- 1. Log into your account and buy a copy of the game (not a gift code) before 8/14/2011.
- 2. You will get a free gift code added to your account. You can see the gift codes you have by going to http://www.minecraft.net/profile/
- 3. Tell your spouse/lover/friend/acquaintance/stranger go to http://www.minecraft.net/redeem.jsp and enter the code, and within minutes you’ll both be punching trees and installing texture packs together.
