The first annual MineCon is coming to Las Vegas in November and I don’t know a Minecraft player that isn’t excited to attend. Unfortunately for many, paying for airfare, hotel, and food as well as convention tickets while taking off work for 3 days would hit the pocketbook hard.

If your a premium member of Curse.com you can win an all expense paid trip to MineCon. Just sign into your premium account and fill out the simple form. If you’re not a premium member you can still enter to win but you’ll need to enter for free by U.S. mail, send your full name, address, daytime phone number, date of birth, and Curse.com account name to: Curse, Inc., Win A Trip To MineCon 2011, 351 California Street, Suite 1450, San Francisco, CA 94104.


Timing: Contest runs from now until October 25, 2011
Official Rules: Open to United States & the District of Columbia residents 13 years and older. Void where prohibited.
Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize Winner: (i) Round-trip coach airfare and hotel accommodations comprised of up to three (3) nights, double-occupancy for winner and one (1) guest, ground transportation to MineCon 2011; (ii) Two (2) tickets to MineCon 2011, taking place November 18 through 19, 2011 in Las Vegas, NV; and (iii) breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal stipends for November 18-20, 2011. If the winner is a minor, the winner’s guest must be the winner’s parent or legal guardian and he/she must travel with winner and physically attend MineCon or prize may be forfeited and awarded to another eligible entrant.

Winners: Winner will be notified by email on or around October 31, 2011.

    I posted this contest because the benefits (free airfare, hotel, food, and tickets to MineCon) far out weight the small cost of entry. Plus, you don’t have to have a Curse.com premium account to enter, you can submit your entry by U.S. mail.
